time needed to become medical assistant?

my nursing assistant certification expired 2 yrs ago, am getting ready to go through course all over again. But was wondering how long training is for medical assistant I think I might go that route if training period is not too long. Thinking about attending deltech in delaware. Thanx

Usually a certificate at a Vocational school is only 9 months of full time (8 hrs/day) classes. An Allied Health program in which you receive an Associates degree is normally 24+ months. Good luck!
