Nurses Charting Examples

Does Clomid change when a woman would ordinarily ovulate?
For example I have 39 day cycles and all the charts say you ovulate 14 days BEFORE your next period (not 14 days after the start of your period, which is true for women who have 28 day cycles so it’s 14 days before/after).
So with a 39 day cycle, 14 days before is about day 25 though calculators say day 22, so let’s say between days 22-25 ovulation would take place. I’m on clomid and the nurse says my insemination should be some time between day 12 and 14 of my cycle and she knows my cycles are 39 days long. Is she going off a 28 day cycle in error or does Clomid change the ovulation period?
You ovulate 14 days before your period starts. yes clomid changes your Ovulation date. I started taking clomid today and thats what OB told me.
Good luck on TTC and I hope you get that BFP very soon!
