Living in USA???
I’m a student and living with my family in Norway in 5 years this coming November and I will be a Norwegian citizen this year 2010. My boyfriend is living in New Jersey in 4 years with his dad. He will be graduating in Nursing next February
2009. He wants me to move in Jersey next year and petition me. I don’t know if he has the right to do that. Is there any laws? What should he/we do? I dont have aaaany idea at all.

What is your boyfriends status? If he is a US citizen he can apply for a K1 finace visa, which will allow you to entry for 90 days to be married. If he is a green card holder the process will take longer and you will need to be married for him to apply for you as his spouse. Like I said I am not sure of his status and that will make a difference on yours. There are no immigrant visa’s for girlfriends.
