Texas Nurses Aide Certification
Posted in Uncategorized | 1 Comment »How can I get my CNA here in Texas?
I’m a CNA in Oklahoma (CNA stands for certified nurse aide). I moved to Texas not that long ago. I want to start working in a nursing home as soon as I can, but I need to get my CNA certification transfered to Texas. I’ve looked all over the place online but I’m having a hard time getting a straight answer to one, simple question: What do I need to do to get my CNA in Texas when I have one in another state?
Its fairly easy to get your license transferred, all you need to do is fill out the reciprocity forum, pay the required fee’s and in two weeks you will receive your new Texas license in the mail. To get started you will want to visit the Texas Nurse Aide Registry at http://www.dads.state.tx.us/handbooks/instr/5000/f5505-nar/index.htm . There you will find all the forums necessary for you to get registered.
